Have a Go Day cancelled due to weather

Have you always wanted to try painting with pastels? Then why not come along and give it a go? I am planning some more dates when the weather is a bit more reliable!

What's on Offer

There is no need to book, you can just drop by and everyone is welcome. I shall set up a few tables and easels in the garden with paper and Unison pastels for you to try. There will be a wet weather plan too!

If you are interested in attending any of my workshops then this is a great opportunity to have a go, or to discuss with me the various workshops and individual sessions I offer. I will also be demonstrating my pastel techniques with a live work in progress.

To complete your visit you are very welcome to take a browse through our gallery where we are currently exhibiting new ceramic wall pieces by Nick Pearce and my most recent Roundway Hill landscape paintings and still life compositions (originals and limited edition prints).

Pastel in Progress

My pastel painting demo at our Bank Holiday Open Studio proved very popular, showing how pastels work and giving an idea of the stages a painting goes through, as the images here illustrate.

The live work on our "Have a Go Day" will also help to give you an idea of the stages we will progress through on some of the workshops, which are working towards a finished painting.

I am really looking forward to talking pastels with you and to hearing about your art journeys too. So please revisit the website soon for new dates.
